The Godfather: Part II (1974) is a great story

In 1972, when Francis Ford Coppola adapted the novel The Godfather by writer Mario Puzo to the big screen, no one would dare to have another movie gangster enough to match it. However, just two years later, the talented director broke his own record with his mentally challenged son, The Godfather: Part II. The story is so classic that the American Film Institute ranks it as well as The Godfather in the 100th best movie of all time. And yet, The Godfather: Part II is also the first sequel in history to win 6/11 Oscars nominations for Best Adapted Screenplay, Supporting Actor, Director, and Best Picture.

Using narrative, The Godfather: Part II consists of two parallel narratives: the road into the underworld of young Vito (Robert De Niro) and the journey to strengthen the empire of crime Corleone from his youngest son Michael (Al Pacino). The film not only reinforces the core family theme but also harnesses and pushes them to the climax. A collection of the most eloquent cast of the 70s, plus the wonderful script Coppola wrote with writer Mario Puzo, The Godfather: Part II left countless scenes extremely classic.

While Robert De Niro is so charming and polite, John Cazale is a fan of the weakest character, and Al Pacino is a big surprise. Outstanding role as the second oldest father, Michael Corleone. In contrast to the mildly moderated leadership of his father, Michael makes everyone abstinent, fearful of cold pursuits, sometimes from tricks to "kill the grass." Of course, anything has its price.

The reason that many post-apocalyptic films have failed in the past few years is mainly because investors are so passionate about running a profit that forgets the core issue: the script. If it is carefully crafted in terms of content, any work, not just a sequel, can surprise the audience.
